Guests will make the 15 minute flight up to San Pedro from the Belize International Airport.From the airstrip in San Pedro, it's just a short taxi ride to the house.

  

When fly fishing the area around Ambergris Caye, guests can expect wide variety of opportunities and fishing situations. For those who like to wade the flats when stalking bonefish, the vast mangrove estuary just outside of town will provide endless hours of excitement. And just a short boat ride south of Tarpon House lays the Congejos system of islands and flats. This whole area is a rich bonefish nursery where running into large schools of bones is an everyday occurrence.

    

 These gorgeous flats hold large numbers of tarpon, schools of big tackle busting jacks, and the occasional permit. For big tarpon, guest should consider booking their trip in May, June or July. Tarpon House features a great room (36x28 feet) with two separate seating areas, cable television, a surround sound stereo system, DVD player, and CD system. Outside is a large verandah, which wraps around the great room and overlooks the gorgeous aquamarine waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Juvenile tarpon, snook, and large barracudas can also be found in this lush ecosystem. In the spring, on the western edge of the Congrejos Cayes, guests will also have some nice shots at permit. For those who might be thinking about tarpon, the gin clear flats around Savannah Caye, to the west of town, are an excellent challenge and offer some of the finest sight casting to tarpon found anywhere.

She will work to your schedule and can accommodate most special dietary requirements if given enough notice.
