Many of our customized trips are built for
clients who are interested in spending time in more than one location,
and why not when you consider all the fantastic opportunities that the
Belizean coast has to offer. There’s something magical about traveling
everywhere by boat while using the gorgeous Caribbean Sea as your highway.
Fly Fishing trips like these are an extraordinary way to see and fish
Belize. The days are long and the guides will make sure to put you into
a wide variety of species. Unlike many of the traditional fishing lodges
in Belize, our guides are not clock-watchers and do not keep “bankers
hours”. They enjoy fishing as much as our guests do and the customized
trips are a great way to maximize your fishing time by taking advantage
of 10 to 12 hour days.

For guests who are looking for a really unique experience
when coming to Belize on a fly fishing trip, we offer our guests a series
of customized trips that take full advantage of all the angling opportunities
that Belize has to offer. The options for your trip are many and we
will consult with you as to what your priorities for the trip are, and
then make some suggestions as to how to best meet your needs for the
trip.
We recently put a 10 day trip together for a group of 8 anglers who
will be fishing down the coast of Belize, from San Pedro to Southwater
Caye, where they’ll be fishing for bonefish, tarpon, and permit,
‘cudas and jacks. They’ll be fishing the whole way down
with three flats skiffs and will have a satellite deep sea fishing boat
along for the trip. Each day, 2 anglers will rotate out of the flats
skiffs and into the offshore boat, looking for marlin, sails, tuna,
dorado and wahoo. We have a customized trip in Northern Belize where
anglers fish to, and stay at, either 2 or 3 different beautiful island
resorts over the course of their week. This is an excellent tarpon trip
as the islands are perfectly located to allow anglers to take full advantage
to the best tarpon waters that Belize has to offer.
We also have great trip where guests will fish in Northern Belize for
tarpon and bonefish for half the trip, then head south to a beautiful
island right on the reef, where they can target tailing permit on the
flats. This trip also allows guests to target reef species and, when
weather allows, do some bluewater fishing for tuna, wahoo, and kingfish.
