By far and away the most popular destination and anchorage with our guests on the Cotton Ranch is the Lighthouse Reef/Turneffe Atoll trip. Guests start their week fly fishing the remote and rarely fished Lighthouse Reef Atoll. The bonefish and permit are quite plentiful at Lighthouse Reef and even inexperienced fly rodders will have a high success rate.

The Belizean coast is a complex maze of excellent
fly fishing opportunities. The reefs, flats, atolls,
and rivers all combine to create a fly fishing tour de
force. The Cotton Ranch will navigate throughout these fertile waters in pursuit of our guests specified
objectives. The Cotton Ranch comes with three flats
boats, each with its own English speaking guide who is an expert at putting clients in front of fish.
Bonefish, tarpon, permit and snook are all available
in this fly fishing paradise.

If guests want to try their luck fighting it out
with the larger, blue water species, virtually all
manner of pelagic species is available outside the
reef. The Cotton Ranch is fully equipped with a
professional fighting chair and all the deep water
fishing gear one could need at the Stern of the yacht.
The last half of the week is spent chasing tarpon,
bonefish and permit on the world famous flats of the
Turneffe Islands. This beautiful area has long been
regarded as one of the finest flats destinations on
the planet.

The fabulous beauty of Belize in combination with the luxury and flexibility that the Cotton Ranch offers allows for both our corporate and individual guests to experience outstanding fly fishing in a very private and discreet setting.
